CDS

The full form of CDS is Combined Defence Services, which is conducted twice yearly and carried forward by those who qualify for the SSB interview. NDA    

NDA is a popular defence examination carried twice every year by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) to get selected to be eligible to get admission in the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. Once the candidate gets qualified for the written exam the person is then called for SSB Interview. Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply for the NDA 2023 examination. Territorial Army

It's another popular defence examination in India. The Territorial army is an auxiliary military organisation of part-time volunteers that offer support services to the Indian army. This army deals with natural calamities and maintenance of essential services that affect both life and communities of the security of the country when it is threatened. This defence examination takes place twice a year to select candidates for the post of officer. 

Indian Coast Guard

The Indian Coast Guard is a maritime law enforcement and search and rescue agency of India that has jurisdiction over its territorial waters that includes an exclusive economic zone and a contiguous zone. This department is managed by the Ministry of Defence. This defence exam is conducted to fill the job openings of Navik, Assistant Commandant and Yantrik. 

Central Armed Police Services/paramilitary forces:

These examinations are carried forward by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) on the national level for the recruitment of assistant commandants at different central police organizations given in the following:

BSF

The full form of BSF is Border Security Force. It is India's paramilitary force that has the duty to look after the security of the country and maintain peace. The people who appear for this examination get selected for the post of Engineer post inspector & SI, Head Constable, Constable Tradesman, etc.

Assam Rifles

The Assam Rifles is the largest and land-based branch of the Indian Armed Forces. The main objective of Assam Rifles is to take care of national security and national unity. It is operationally and geographically separated into seven commands both geographically and operationally. This defence examination takes place to recruit candidates for different posts like constable, tradesman, Rifleman/ Rifle Women, Electrical Fitter, Personal Assistant and GD Clerk.

CRPF

The full form of CRPF is Central Reserved Police Force and is known to be the largest of India's Central Armed Police Forces. The CRPF works under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) of the Government of India. This Defence examination is the place for recruitment of candidates for head constable ministerial and Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer).

Agniveer Vayu

The Agnipath Schema was introduced by the Government of India for the recruitment of soldiers below the rank of commissioned officers into the 3 services of the armed forces and in the Indian Airforce as Agniveer Vayu. This defence examination is conducted twice a year and aspirants who are aged from 17 years to 23 years are eligible for this post.
